BC Platforms announced today that it will open a new office in Basel, Switzerland. The Basel region is Switzerland’s most dynamic and innovative economic area. Its success is due to its position as Europe’s no. 1 life sciences cluster with global players like Novartis and Roche, as well as numerous research institutions. “This is an ideal location for us”, says Tero Silvola, Chairman of BC Platforms Ltd.

BC Platforms’ Switzerland office will be opened on August 1, 2014. As of today, the company has appointed Mr. Mikael Muittari to lead sales operations in Europe. Mr. Muittari has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical and commercial experience including new business development, sales and marketing management, and brand leadership at AstraZeneca, Novartis and Merck & Co. Mr. Muittari will operate from the Basel office.
